BENEVOLENCE
MaconFBC members, regular attenders, and people within our local community may apply for short-term financial assistance from our Benevolence fund. We give priority to requests from members and regular attendees but consider requests from the the Macon community when possible.
We can only assist with short-term and emergency needs. We cannot provide long–term or repeated assistance. We also cannot assist with bills more than 60 days in arrears, childcare, medical bills, unsecured loan payments, taxes, legal expenses, or any expense that is not an objectively verified need.
If you have a current need and would like to request assistance, please drop by the MaconFBC office at 302 North Rutherford Street (WEST ENTRANCE into the office suites) Monday-Thursday from 8am-4:30pm to submit a BENEVOLENCE REQUEST FORM.

PASTORAL CARE
God can lead you through a difficult time or crisis through conversation, prayer, and Biblical direction. If you attend MaconFBC and/or if you are a MaconFBC member and would like to talk with one of our pastors or spiritual leaders about your situation, please email or call 660.385.3714.
Please make an appointment with a pastor. Don't drop by and expect to "catch" the pastor. We want to give ample time and consideration to your need. That is best fulfilled by contacting us and making an appointment.

WEDDINGS
Your wedding is a celebration of God joining two people to become one flesh. Your plans for the service should reflect that fact and also align with the beliefs and worship practices of Macon First Baptist Church. Careful planning will ensure that your wedding is meaningful to you, your family, and friends.
MaconFBC has two spaces suitable for wedding ceremonies. The largest is the Worship Center, which seats up to 500 people. Our Legacy Chapel provides an intimate setting for up to 80 people.
When scheduling weddings, MaconFBC gives priority to church members and their children. A “church member,” in this case, is someone who has joined in membership and participates regularly in MaconFBC ministry.
While we do our best to keep wedding fees manageable, we must require fees to cover costs for custodian, wedding planner, sound and media assistance.
